Cabin Boy Message :
If ye be getting this message, ye must have been on the list of swashbuckling scabs what have made their glorious journey to places afar to plunder and play the golden art of rugby against some other crusty old salts. Aye hope ye are well... for we have a task for ye.

In just four short moons, (This Saturday) at 5 Bells in the afternoon (2.30pm) we need once again to go into battle for the virgins of Murwillumbah. Unfortunately there possibly being no virgins left in murwillumbah, we shall be forced to take whatever we can with the pillaging and plundering. Supplies and a hearty ale will be available, with port for all in the off time breaks.

Whether you be a landlubber, a new deck hand, or an old salt, we would like to see ye at the game in fine form. Many may remember that this was one of our finest expeditions last year, so let's give it all we have !!

After a short mutiny in Lennox Head, poor Captain Tim was pushed off the gangplank along with his cronies, and has been replaced by a new captain of the ship - Paul O'Keefe. May god have mercy on our souls... We should all raise our glasses with a toast to the mighty fallen captain - he certainly did not go without a fight, and many ales were needed at Lennox to settle his nerves.... and everyone elses...

We move on to 2008 with our sails full, and our course set . The raping and pillaging will be underway on these dates:
April 12th - Murwillumbah
May 3rd - Lismore Minifest (Frigate)
May 24th - Yamba (Frigate)
June 21 - Ballina Minifest (Frigate)
July 12th - Casuarina Home Game
August 2nd - Tenterfield
August 23rd - Casuarina Home Game
September 20th - Drake Minifest (Frigate)
** I have taken the liberty of booking a 35 seater Frigate for each of the away games which will be duly stocked for a good day of easy plundering.
At 20 coins per head, it's a hassle-free day - and remember - the more people, the more beer I can stock in the frigate using the extra cash.

As the only person who was not listening to what was being said by the Captain, and thereby becoming keeper of the treasure chest by default (must read those rules again...) I will be the one chasing up registrations, and looking for referrals from mates who want to come along.

Membership for 2008 stays at 125 gold coins, and covers your insurance etc. Come along and register on Saturday in Mur'bah.

Could all of you please confirm your details, including current address, phone and mobile numbers and alternative emails if I got it wrong so that I can get an accurate list together
If you cannot play or do not wish to play this year, you are more than welcome to enjoy the social aspect of our adventures, without the requirement to actually do any exercise.

If you are done with the seagoing adventures, and cannot possibly bring yourself to drink another port, please advise me and I will take you off the list... Alternatively, if you have any friends who you think may enjoy the atmosphere, please invite them along to Saturday for a friendly run.

Yours in slow Rugby (Stolen from Brian Kenny)
