The Ocean Shores Medical Centre was established in 1983 with Dr John Holmes being the only Medical Practitioner in the area. The Centre now offers 3 fully qualified Medical General Practitioners, two males & one female. All doctors in this practice have satisfied the training requirements of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and are on the Vocational Register of General Practitioners. This means we have a commitment to general practice and to continuing medical education. At any time when one of the doctors is going on holidays or study leave, the doctors of the centre or a locum will be looking after the absent doctor's patients. We are committed to providing the very best possible medical care in all aspects of Family Medicine and we believe in looking after the whole person from preventative medicine and counselling to diagnosis and treatment. All patient consultations and medical records are kept strictly confidential. Our staff will at all times present themselves in a courteous, friendly and helpful manner to all patients and professional staff. |
