Mullumbimby is also the home of the Mullumbimby Giants Rugby League Group 1 Premiers. The Mullumbimby Giants' home ground is situated just east of the township in Manns Rd. This complex is rated as one of the best sporting grounds in the Group 1 division.

Also the Mullumbimby Leagues Club hosts the annual Mullumbimby 'Bucking Thunder' Downunder (Rodeo) which caters for all the family. This event is held at the Leagues Club on the main oval under lights.
