LinC is a network of churches and agencies
in the local community that links human needs
with human resources.
How LinC makes the link...
2. Phone volunteers assess each need on the basis
of legitimacy, manageability and vicinity of a
participating church. If an agency exists which is able
to meet the need, it is referred to the agency.
3. Help is found. Most people will be referred to a trained
appropriate volunteer to meet the need.

Why is LinC Needed ?
* Many needs are unable to be met by agencies.
* Caring people want to help, but don’t know how.
* Often effort and services are duplicated.
* To uncover untapped community resources.
* To provide opportunity for churches to work together
in practical Christian caring.
