Louis Victor Armbruster

Vic Armbruster, one of the most versatile forwards Australia has, first represented for NSW from Mullumbimby on the North Coast and then came to Queensland in 1924 playing for Toowoomba, Queensland and Australia against England.

Tall, tough, talented. Vic was all of these and more. He was the complete Rugby League forward, equally at home at lock or in the second-row. For almost a decade he was a dominant force in Australian representative football.
8 Tests for Australia (1924-30) Also played 16 minor games on one Kangaroo tour (1929-30).

Born: July 12, 1902 at Meerschaumvale, Richmond River, NSW.

Died : 1984

Height: 6ft 1in.

Weight : 13st. 9lb
